Need a Diver?! And who hasn’t dropped something important in the water or been fouled below the waterline and needed to pay for expensive lift?  Chris Knight is the man to call. He is known by our Membership Secretary, having used him to take drone photos of her house.  He lives in Datchet and is a Fireman at the Slough Station. You can see some of his beautiful photography on the website of Blue Acre Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation based in Old Windsor.

The Thames Vintage Boat Club was founded at Old Windsor in March 1983 to provide a club and forum for all types of traditionally built craft; to seek to encourage their restoration, maintenance, and above all, their use, and also to produce and maintain an historical record of all traditional craft on the river Thames.

The Thames Traditional Boat Festival is held annually in July. It features the largest display of traditional boats in Europe, a celebration of all that's best in boatbuilding and craftsmanship evoking the nostalgia of boating from a bygone era.

River Thames Stream Conditions is hosted by the Environment Agency and provides current advice to river users as to stream conditions of all non-tidal reaches of the Thames.

Stanley & Thomas Boatbuilders have been established in Windsor since 1983. Located at Romney Lock in a lovely setting opposite Eton College and in the shadow of Windsor Castle, they offer full boatyard facilities with particular emphasis on traditional wooden craft, including boat sales.

A guide for owners of craft fitted with Perkins H6.354 or HT6.354 engines produced by the Broom Owners' Club in 2010 giving really useful information on spares availability and possible solutions to potential problems.
