History
 
1965 Purchased by Les Bennet of Stanmore, it was named La Chemme as an anagram of family names, but he also ran a company of that name. The anagram was made up from LA CH from Lily And CHarles (Les Bennetts name was really Charles but be liked to be called Les!) EM from EMMA and ME from Marianne. He sold her after a year and bought a Dutch boat "Lady Holland II".
1965-87 Owned by Mr Norman Hill of Wentworth Surrey, and Named "La Chemme" from new. Thames based from new at Wraysbury and Chertsey. Moored Old Windsor for many years opposite the Bells Of Ouseley Pub.
1987 (Feb) Purchased by Mr. J.B. Reardan.

Refurbished at Bates yard
1990 Jack Readan took her to Dunkirk in spectator fleet.
December 1996 Aquired by Chris Edgerly & R.J. Shea, and after extensive structural restoration.
June 1998 Relaunched.
1998 Winner of the Clarke Roller at ThamesTraditional Boat Rally.
2000 Cruised by Chris Edgerley to Dunkirk.  Chris hopes to return in 2010.
1999 Winner of the Bates Wheel.
Summer 2004 La Chemme owned solely by Chris Edgerley.
